1. Overview

AheadIQ is a navigation application designed to provide routing, turn-by-turn guidance and information relevant to the road ahead. Some features require location, route context and network access. AheadIQ does not claim that all app data remains only on your device; certain features necessarily send limited request data to third-party service providers.

2. Data AheadIQ may process

Location and route information

AheadIQ may process your current location, movement, heading, speed, destination, waypoints and route-area coordinates to provide navigation, routing, weather, traffic, places and other road-ahead features.

Searches and place information

Search text, place identifiers and related location context may be processed to return places, destinations, fuel, food, lodging, attractions and other points of interest.

Vehicle and tow settings

If you use vehicle or Tow Mode features, AheadIQ may store vehicle and trailer dimensions, weight and related routing preferences on your device and use them when requesting compatible routes.

Saved app data

Saved routes, avoided-road references, preferred-road selections, settings, search history, vehicle profiles and similar preferences may be stored locally on the device.

Billing information

Premium subscription purchases are handled through Google Play Billing. AheadIQ may receive purchase and entitlement status needed to determine access to paid features, but payment-card details are handled by Google Play rather than AheadIQ.

3. Third-party data providers

Depending on the feature you use, AheadIQ may communicate with service providers including:

• HERE Technologies — maps, search, routing, traffic and related location services.
• Xweather — weather conditions, alerts and radar-related data.
• Tripadvisor — selected place metadata, ratings and related place information where available.
• RapidAPI / UCRLens — crime-context data where enabled and supported.
• Google Play — app distribution, subscription billing and entitlement-related purchase processing.

Provider requests may include information reasonably necessary to fulfill a feature, such as coordinates, search terms, place identifiers or route-area context. Each provider may process information under its own privacy terms.

4. API conservation and caching

AheadIQ includes Data Saver features, caching and stationary-request guards intended to reduce repeated or unnecessary network calls. Cached durations vary by feature. These controls reduce network activity but do not eliminate requests required for live navigation and current data.

5. Diagnostics and support

AheadIQ can produce privacy-conscious support diagnostics such as app version, Android version, device information, permission state, feature configuration, Tow Mode state, Data Saver state, navigation state and API session counters.

Support diagnostics are designed not to include API keys, precise coordinates, destinations, saved routes or account credentials. If you manually include sensitive information in an email or screenshot, that information will be contained in the message you send.

6. Website data

The initial AheadIQApp.com website is designed as a static site without advertising cookies or analytics. Hosting and security infrastructure may still process ordinary web request data such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and security logs as part of delivering and protecting the website.

7. Retention

Local app information remains on your device until removed by the app, overwritten by normal app behavior, cleared through app/device settings, or deleted when the application is removed, subject to Android and backup behavior. Third-party providers may retain request or service data according to their own policies.

8. Your choices

• You can control Android location and notification permissions through device settings.
• You can disable or limit certain data-intensive features within AheadIQ where controls are provided.
• You can clear or remove locally saved information through app features where available.
• You can choose not to send support diagnostics.

9. Children

AheadIQ is designed as a navigation utility for drivers and is not directed to children.

10. Security

AheadIQ uses platform and provider security controls appropriate to the services it integrates. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated as AheadIQ changes. The date at the top of this page will be revised when material updates are made.
